Finding Beauty

The world around us is changing everyday. We as individuals are like catalysts and determine or make those changes that occur each moment. Its the little things on a daily basis that mold and shape us into who we are becoming as a people or individuals. There is so much good out there in the world but the more articles I read and things I see I am finding that we as a society have lost the beauty and wonder in each other. So many articles or blogs I find women bashing each other for things they do yet they claim to support/respect others, the news consistently points out the negatives and rarely focuses on the good, political agendas will be met regardless of their effects on “the people” just for the sake of one’s image, some individuals take and take from others emotionally never giving back. There is something positive to be found in all of these negative situations yet do we take the time to put ourselves in others shoes and find the beauty that can be found? I have been wanting to do this project for myself for quite sometime now (about a year) as I have watched those around me in the world struggle with their inner self. I will be posting pictures twice a week that will find the beauty in all different types of situations. As time goes on I want to increase my goal to posting a picture everyday.

Feel free to jump on in the project and use ‪#‎findingbeauty‬ when you find something beautiful in life even during those truthful moments in life that are real.

It's Autumn Time!

It's autumn time, it's autumn time. The leaves are falling down.
It's autumn time, it's autumn time It's all around the town.
It's autumn time, It's autumn time There's yellow, red and brown.
It's autumn time, It's autumn time Bright colors can be found.

This is one of my favorite primary songs right now especially with all of the fall colors around Virginia! Here are some of my favorite photographs from our drive to the Shenandoah's a couple of weeks ago. We had such a great time and it was worth the all the driving.

Welcome!
